TRACK JACKET & LEATHER

It is early sunday morning, the time is 1:29 a.m as I am composing this final draft and all I could think about is falling into a deep slumber before I have to wake up and fulfill my duties at work. I mind as well share this lovely post with you guys, I borrowed my friend Linda's track jacket to wear randomly and thought I incorporate it with my wardrobe. This outfit reminds me of the movie "Grease", which takes place in a high school setting. I decided to throw on a leather piece to give it some jazz, there's something about leather and the track jacket that makes me feel young. Hah, I feel like I'm in high school again. If you have been reading along in my other post, you'll notice that I love adding leather or must I say faux leather pieces in my daily looks. It is my must have favorite's and has been trending for quite some time. And come on you guys, don't I look a bit cooler swinging that sexy jacket over my shoulders? Haha, just throwing some humor in there.

GOLDEN

I grew up listening to "No Doubt" whenever it was on the radio when I was younger. I never actually owned any of the tracks or must I say CD's or cassette's back in the days. This song will never be outplayed, it remains a golden classic in my playlist forever.

BADGAL IN PAISLEY

What can I say.. I have stepped out of my comfort zone to do things differently, so I went ahead and paired this paisley legging with a DIY men's top that I borrowed from my photographer fiance. It's a splash of edgy and chic and I have to say I do look a bit "bad ass", and there's nothing wrong with that lol. I'm looking to step into different types of style's in the future to try something new. It doesn't hurt to try out new ideas, you have to go in with an open mind to see what works and what doesn't work for you. Anyhow, expect more street wear and chic in my upcoming post I will definetly be collaborating it in my wardrobe.

I thought I share my all time favorite look that I frequently repeat throughout the previous season. I would still go by this attire but I'd probably substitute the long jeans with acid wash cut-off shorts for the warmer spring/summer weather. Enjoy everyone.

FAUX LEATHER/CHILLY WEATHER

Boston still manage to have its chilly days in the spring, these photos were taken when it was 50 degrees out. However, the day before it was 75-80 degrees so the weather here can be a bit bipolar. No complaints here, I am still holding on to my faux leather bottoms it has been my go-do this previous winter/fall season. With summer approaching I am going to need to pack these bad boys away. But what could stay are my awesome sunny shades!

A SUNDAY LISTEN

Aside from all the mainstream music which are just as great, I find listening to calm and collective songs as part of easing my mind from my busy life. Sundays are my favorite day to just have a cup of tea and pressing play to Late Night Alumni. Although, I work every weekend it is rare for me to have that kind of "Me" time. But it never fails to give me a great listen.
