White Xmas

Christmas is near and I already have my fuzzy sweater on to match my little xmas tree in the background if you guys hadn't noticed. I know the white tree can be a bit corny but it matches my apartment so well. My mermaid Nancy wanted to put more of her photography test skills to work, so we went ahead and did some face shots. These are one of our hobbies that we both attempt to do once a week but with our busy schedule, every two weeks. It's nice to do a little something out of the ordinary instead of gluing our eye's to the T.V, which I'm guilty of..

It's sort of hard to make my expressions look soft, I tend to look too serious.

Blue Velvet

It has officially begun when I can feel the brisk cold air tickle my legs, winter weather has kicked in and I am not a huge fan when it comes to stepping outside to start my car up. That just means I need more outerwear in my wardrobe, I try to sway away from splurging on countless blazers for coverup's. I knew when I purchased this acid oversized jean jacket from forever 21, this item would be worn for years on. I don't know why my skin looks overly tan, most days I am so much more paler. When it comes to winter I love to look as pale as I can, but that isn't always the case I guess.

You guys would probably see this backdrop frequently my mermaid and I scored an ultimate photo session spot. It's perfect!

Black and bright.

As of lately, I have been drawn to black colored clothing, it is however a popular color for the fall/winter for others as well. I normally never wear black that often, I am more of a colorful gal. But I am loving this bold dark color. And I cannot resist having the dark contrast in my wardrobe, but I still couldn't sacrifice my bright colored prints in my winter outfits.

Also, the plum lipstick is definitely my go to color lip this season. Here's two of plums you guys may like.

Nightly dinner

It's been a month since I had been out, I have been a busy human like everyone else of course. Sometimes it's nice to come out and enjoy what the night has to bring. My friend nancy and I decided to meet up with some friends and have casual dinner and drinks. I have been craving sushi, Im not one that experiments with many food so I usually stick to my crabmeat, all sort of crabmeat rolls. It never fails to delight me. The drink menu seem too overwhelming so I normally order an margarita while my mermaid nancy orders her usual cranberry and vodka. She doesn't drink often, so its a celebration!

It's a first for night photo outside, it didn't come out bad at all.

Ending the night rapping and singing haha.

Winter in Cappuccino

Welcome to my humble room where the whites and prints collide together.

As you can see I have not retired my summer prints and they are here to stay for this chilly season. Here in Massachusetts, it is more of a brutal cold season but I manage to survive every year. My cappuccino rug keeps my apartment somewhat warm, however I still find myself buried under my crisp feather stuffed duvet. I could literally lay down on my floor and fall asleep; that is how cozy my place can be. I should invest in more solid clothing, all I see is prints haha. Well I hope everyone is staying warm, I know I am trying.

Current liquid favorites

So I decided to post something different, I usually only have my personal clothing taste but I wanted to share more of myself in depth. Currently these are my favorite's that I have been dedicated too so far this year. I alway's seem to add on more to my daily routine but what can I say? I love that flawless airbrush look. Most of my products can be bought from drugstores, I am not one of those high brands users. However I do love the best of both world.

My base foundation is Revlon Colorstay in 370 toast, its usually my Fall/Winter shade, and it literally stays on flawless for 24 hours, It is medium to full coverage with a matte finish.

I use an darker shade to contour by Maybelline FIT ME in shade 355, it has a more dewy texture. Great for Contouring! I recommend watching "TheBeautyBox1211"; on youtube to get familiar with this method. She's great!

For Highlighting I use Instant Age Rewind by Maybelline, the color is actually just a neutralizer.

Lastly, Mac Pro Longwear to diminish my awful under eye circle's, it is the only concealer that does not slide off my bags.

Breakfast & Primped

I start off my day with an ice coffee I sometimes would have two servings a day which isn't probably the best idea, but I love coffee. I found this quote on pinterest, "If you bring me coffee without having to ask, then I love you". Of course not literally, lets not abuse it. Anyhow one of the things I love about fall is wearing knee highs and I am exciting that I am finally wearing a skater skirt it's such a ultimate classic. Things do come back in style, I am guilty of hoarding several different colors and textures of the same thing; So I probably will have more to add to my racks. Don't mind me I'm just having my breakfast at Brew'd Awakening coffeehause, my room mate was snapping random photo's of me and no one seem to mind.

Color Contrast.

This time around I am going to keep it short it's been a busy month and prints are showing up everywhere. I've always been a gal ecstatic about texture and prints so it definitely  works out for me. It's about time I pull out those tights that have been buried in my drawer of clothes, it's freezing out and I still love wearing skirts so it'll work. Don't feel like you have to retire your amazing bottoms for the season.

Happy Halloween everyone.
